Adjust attack and release times manually, or set them to auto mode for easier setup. Variable controls are also provided for threshold, ratio, output gain, de-esser level, and limiter level. The rear panel presents balanced XLR and 1/4″ I/O, a dedicated switch for +4 dBu or -10 dBV operating levels, and 1/4″ sidechain sends and returns, which allow processing of the internal sidechain through outboard gear, or routing an external sidechain into the MDX2600 V2. Additional sidechain functions include a listen mode and a switchable high-pass filter for fine-tuning your trigger signal.

Visually monitor input/output levels and gain reduction via 12-segment LED meters, de-esser level suppression via four-segment LEDs, and signal-to-threshold indication, and limiter activity.
